My name is Megan Eaker. I am proud to have been selected as a stude​​​​​​​nt visionary for LLS. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is doing great work supporting patients who hear the scary words “you have cancer” and simultaneously researching life-saving drugs and cures. As a student visionary, I am working hard to fundraise and gather support from the community to ultimately make a change one donation at a time!

 

Why am I doing this?

Getting diagnosed with anything is scary. For me, it was diabetes and a long list of autoimmune diseases, for my best friend it was a tumor, and for countless others, it is blood cancers. I want that to change. I am fundraising to have a research Grant dedicated to my campaign. The money I fundraise will go directly into the lab to find a cure!
